Ian Woodroffe is a BACP accredited counsellor
and supervisor. He works as a freelance counsellor, supervisor and
trainer for many different organisations. These include the N.H.S.,
Social Services, charities and voluntary organisations.
He has worked in the NHS and hospice world for 25 years with special
interests in the care of the dying, bereavement and the transmission
of trauma. He has worked as director of a staff counselling department
in a large NHS Trust.
He is currently working part-time providing psychological support
for parents and staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the
Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. This is in addition to a busy freelance
practice.
As a clear communicator Ian has been asked to broadcast both within
radio and television. Ian writes regularly on counselling issues
for a local press publication.
He has several hobbies, one of which is photography. |
