WHAT?
Counselling gives you an opportunity to explore your
concerns, to unravel the knots and to plan for a re-vitalised future.
Counselling is not a magical process, it can be hard emotional work.
Your counsellor is with you to encourage your exploration and to
support you without judging you or thinking that anything that you
say is silly.
HOW?
A free initial session is often available (schedule permitting)
for you to meet your counsellor and to feel comfortable that you
wish to work with him.
Full confidentiality is assured.
A professional complaints procedure is in place
through the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
WHERE?
The sessions are in a purpose built consulting room,
assuring privacy and confidentiality.
The consulting room is in Swaffham Bulbeck (6 miles Newmarket side
of Cambridge - see "Where we are".)
The sessions are usually in the region of one hour although time
may vary according to the circumstances. You are always in control
of the length of the sessions. |

HOW MUCH?
The cost of each session is £40.
WHO?
Your counsellor will be Ian Woodroffe. Ian is an accredited
UK registered counsellor with B.A.C.P. He is a highly experienced
counsellor who has worked professionally as a counsellor for over
25 years. He is approachable, sensitive and understanding.
He dislikes counselling jargon and is a good communicator
as his radio, television and writing work demonstrates.
He has successfully trained many people in the
art of relaxation.
